Day 16: Ghost Girl
She makes her rounds in the less populated hours of the night. The patients who have returned from death can see and appreciate all the work she does around the hospital. She can’t move on until her son, who’s been in intensive care for years now, isn’t in need of her anymore.
It’s almost as if they don’t even feel the hospital’s budget cuts. Those still with a (morbid) sense of humor jokingly wish the boy never gets better.

I adore the story behind this one!
